This Key Laboratory of Infrared System Detection and Imaging Technology of CAS focuses on the need of national major strategic and economic development and aiming at frontier science and technology development at home/abroad. Based on the advantage of Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics (SITP), such as infrared technology and remote sensing, the LAB is committed to improving the spatial resolution, spectral resolution and weak signal detection ability and quantitative level and so on. Also, exploring a new concept in the field of infrared detection, and imaging technology are also carried out. Meanwhile, the laboratory is an opened research platform for domestic-related research. By cultivating and attracting high-level research talents and carrying out extensive technical exchanges and cooperation, the laboratory aims to become an international first-class, domestic leading, technology-leading and irreplaceable applied basic research base in the field of infrared detection and imaging technology.
