Specialists from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Visited Our Institute

At the invitation of DAI Ning, the deputy director of the Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics, two specialists from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Dr. Lawrence L.Kazmerski and Dr. Xiaonan Li visited our institute on Nov. 17 2008 and were received warmly by DAI.

During the visit, Dr. Lawrence L.Kazmerski made the academic reports entitled “Sustionability of Thin Film Photovoltaics”, “The Solar Revolution:The Tipping Point to Next Generation PV” and “Recent Developments in Thin Film Solar Cell Technologies” to the researchers of our institute respectively and discussed with them. Through this exchange, both sides had a further understanding of each other and laid a good basis for future cooperation.
