FengYun-2F (CMA's new geostationary meteorological satellite) achieved faring separation on Feb.2 after it obtained high-resolution visible cloud image on Jan. 18. It first acquired long-wave infrared 1 and 2 images, mid-wave infrared and water vapor images on 11:30 of February 4.
