Optoelectronic Materials and Devices, 2012 International Symposium held July 12-13 in Chicago, USA. US EPIR company, US renewable energy laboratory, the UIC microelectronics Physics Laboratory, Shanghai  center for photovotaics(SCPV) and Schiff laboratories organized the meeting jointly.

  Academician Chu Junhao was appointed as co-chair. SCPV was invited to make report, named as "Cadmium telluride thin-film battery technology development" which described the current international development trend of cadmium telluride cells and solar centers in cadmium telluride thin-film battery research progress.
